When you visit us at La Taska Sidreria you’ll find Asturian recipes cooked for generations:

Fabadas that nanas prepared during the cold winter nights for their families to recover their energy after those endless days in the fields or in the mines…

Cachopos that went from being one of the most cooked and loved dishes in Asturian homes to a gastronomic treasure prepared in the most renowned restaurants of the capital…

The cod omelettes that were served in the Basque cider houses at the beginning of the 20th century…

The T-bone steak cooked in stone…

The chorizo sausages stewed in cider …

Recipes with history.

You’ll find the most representative of them all in La Taska Sidrería.

We have recovered, selected, and in many cases, updated them for you.

Always, with a lot of respect and affection.

We are concerned about mass production.

We know how difficult it is to survive in a highly commercialised market like today’s.

That’s why we make sure that all the ingredients that end up in our kitchen are brought to us directly from the fields, farms, cheese factories, wineries and distilleries in the North of Spain.

We are also convinced that our three star dishes (Fabada, Cachopo and Cider) would not be as good as they are without the care, attention and crafted processes applied by these local producers. They are the reason we’re serving the best fabada, the best cachopo and the best cider in Valencia today.

Not caring for the source of our ingredients does not fit in our schemes!

Did you know that La Taska Sidrería has signed an agreement with the I.G.P. Galician Beef?

What does this mean for you?

It means that we commit ourselves to go through various rigorous controls and follow-up processes to guarantee that the meat we serve on your plate is authentic Galician beef, the first with integral controls and guarantee certificates.

At La Taska you have the certainty that the Cachopo that you have on your plate, as well as our T-bone steaks, sirloins, and entrecotes, have been prepared with the very tender, juicy and succulent certified Galician beef.

Come and discover the difference!

Our mission is to make you feel as though you are in the North of Spain, while right in the heart of Valencia.

We want you to be transported with all the senses.

And since it is impossible for us to give you the gift of the beautiful landscapes of the Cantabrian coast, we try to get you closer to that privileged environment by reproducing Asturian rural architecture in our premises…

That’s why, you’ll notice the use of wood, stone, slate, barrels, etc. in the design of our spaces …

And smiles …

You’ll notice a lot of smiles!

La Taska Sidreria team truly enjoys delivering the best of Asturias to you! And it shows!

I found this restaurant around the corner from my hotel and was pleased to see that it was not too busy on Sunday nights, just what I had in mind for a quiet meal. The staff was very polite and friendly, and the food excellent, especially the confit of duck with baked apple in red wine. The experience of drinking cider was fun and all for a very reasonable price if we add what we had to eat and drink.

We visited this place because it was close to our hotel, and the area called Cánovas is beautiful and has many restaurants. They offer typical food from the north of Spain, we ordered several tapas such as chistorra, octopus with potatoes, an incredible assortment of delicious cheeses and finally a huge portion of breaded meat stuffed with ham and cheese called cachopo ... it was so good, so tender and so tasty! We loved this restaurant and the waiter Matías was very friendly at all times!

We just returned from a short break in Valencia and while we were there we enjoyed a fantastic meal at La Taska Sidreria, a really lovely place. The staff was friendly and very professional. The menu was extensive and the food delicious. The cider turned out to be a great success and the way they serve it is quite the show. Their patatas bravas were the best we found in Valencia. The value for money is incredible: we chose the B menu, which consisted of seven courses and included free drinks. All for 27 euros. Amazing!!
